Ayana Manzaneres, LCSW-C (Maryland)​ has worked with children, adults and families in varying capacities. She applies diverse therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of clients. Ayana has supported individuals and families in diverse settings, including Child Welfare Services, Montgomery and Baltimore County Circuit Court and Montgomery County Public School System. Ayana has also provided therapy with a local private practice.
Ayana is passionate about helping children, adults and families navigate complex emotional challenges, she is committed to fostering healing and resilience in those seeking support. She possesses the ability to create safe spaces that are judgment free and attentive to the needs of the person with those she provides support. In this shared space, she will work to untangle the noise of the world allowing the ability to elevate and focus on the issues for discussion. Ayana brings a depth of knowledge and lived experience, which allows her to work with diverse individuals and families wherever they may be located on their personal journeys, she is able to support them through an array of life's challenging conditions. With this foundation of knowledge and experience, she is confident she will be able to meet you where you are and partner to elevate well-being and create the life you desire.
Ayana has experience supporting children, adolescents and adults, manage and overcome symptoms related to depression, anxiety and adjustments to changes in family dynamics and life circumstances. Ayana enjoys learning about different cultures, spending quality time with family, friends in addition to taking yoga and dance classes. She is a graduate of Ithaca College (B.A.) and the University of Maryland School of Social Worker (MSW).
